A most hype highlight clip follows the Hogs’ biggest win so far this season.

Boy, did Razorback Nation need that one.

A day after the Hogs football team seemingly committed harikari on itself in Starkville, Miss., the basketball program made the state proud by knocking off undefeated Indiana 73-72 at Bud Walton Arena. This is a Hoosiers team which features projected NBA Draft Top 10 pick Romeo Langford and was coming off a 23-point win over No. 24 Marquette.

The gaggle of NBA scouts on hand saw Arkansas push back with plenty of firepower of its own. To chronicle it, the athletic department produced this awesome Razorback basketball video:

The Razorbacks who stepped up

Daniel Gafford poured in a career-high 27 points and tied his career-high with 12 rebounds, to go along with three blocks and two steals. He shot 80% on field goals, which was huge in a game that Arkansas otherwise struggled from the field.

In the second half alone, Gafford made 9-of-10 shots and scored 19 points with seven rebounds. Such a performances goes right up there with the most efficient, clutch halves ever produced by Bobby Portis, Corliss Williamson, Oliver Miller, Joe Kleine, Andrew Lang and other great Hog big men.

Freshman shooting phenom Isaiah Joe was only 3 of 11 on three-point attempts, but still helped his team by stretching the Hoosier defense to give Gafford space to operate inside. Mason Jones provided a big lift with 7 assists against no assists — something no Razorback had done since 2012. Oh, and Jones hit the game-winning free throw (then purposefully missed a “game-winning” free throw ) as a well.
