Bobby Petrino has accomplished one of his top tasks since returning to Arkansas as the offensive coordinator, securing a commitment from quarterback Taylen Green out of the transfer portal.

The former Boise State standout announced his pledge to the Razorbacks on Monday, following an official visit to Fayetteville over the weekend.

Rated as a high three-star transfer, he checks in at No. 89 overall and No. 16 among quarterbacks in the portal, according to On3.

It was a quick process for Green (6-6, 221 pounds), who spent just one week in the portal. In fact, his commitment tweet was 18 minutes shy of being exactly seven days following his departure tweet.

His trip to Arkansas was expected to be the first of at least five visits, with trips to Cal, BYU, LSU and Oregon State also on the docket, but now those won’t happen.
