The unofficial start to each college football season is SEC Media Days. Thursday is when Arkansas will be featured this year, but the event got underway Monday.
One reason it’s a significant moment, aside from being the pinnacle of “talking season,” is that each team releases its media guide – which comes with an updated roster.
Most of the additions and departures are known by now, but the roster also features the latest weights for the players after going through an offseason weight lifting and conditioning program.
Of course, these numbers don’t tell us everything, as we don’t know each player’s specific goal or things like their muscle mass percentage, but they can tell us some things.
